Carrie Pelletier, RVT – Veterinary Practice Manager
Carrie Pelletier, RVT grew up in Maine and moved to North Carolina in 2008 where she enrolled at Central Carolina Community College working toward a future in veterinary medicine. Carrie decided to move the mountains of North Carolina in 2010 and enrolled at Asheville-Buncombe Technical College to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Finding a passion in emergency medicine, she worked at a busy 24-hour small animal practice for three years after school.
When an opportunity to work with the NCSU College of Veterinary School of Medicine came up she was excited to move back to the Raleigh area. She went back to private practice in 2014 after realizing that emergency medicine was her true passion. She joined the Wake Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care team as the practice manager in the fall of 2017. She has a handsome three-legged beagle mix named Maximus and enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with friends.
Sara Lundy – Assistant Manager
Sara Lundy was born in Florida, but was raised in Syracuse, NY until middle school when she moved to NC. She attended North Carolina State University for her undergraduate degree – GO WOLFPACK! – while simultaneously beginning her career in the veterinary field at a local private practice. She moved into Lab Animal Medicine at NCSU-CVM in 2013 to experience a different side of veterinary medicine. Sara moved back to private practice in 2020 to pursue her dream of managing a veterinary practice. In her spare time, she likes to play rugby with RRFC or hang out with her human and fur family.
